Our client wanted a standing stone with the house number carved on it. A simple faced stone was honed down to achieve a smooth surface, showcasing the beautiful colours within the stone quarried at Birch Hill Quarry, Fetter Hill, Coleford. Our mason carved the house number, and voila, there it is, ready to adorn their cherished home and garden. Pennant sandstone is hardwearing, renowned for its durability and longevity. Pennant Sand Stone is a testament to quality and just as important, it is a locally produced stone.
Leaving the edges and back in their natural dug state, the contrast of the natural to sawn finish is striking, hence so many clients choose our sawn paving to sit along side monolith sized rockery.
